Jig to allow compression testing of 50mm Cubes on a standard concrete compression machine

Compression device to test portions of 40x40x160mm mortar prisms broken in flexure.
The frame is fitted with an upper platen with spherical seat that moves vertically sustained by a spring. The apparatus can be placed directly on the lower machine platen. The height is 188mm and the vertical clearance of the machine has to be adjusted using suitable distance pieces.

To be used with a Compression Machine fitted with a 2nd frame upgrade kit.
