Crack Detection

This has been especially manufactured to measure crack widths in concrete. Consisting of a high definition
Microscope connected to an adjustable light source which provides a well-illuminated image under all working
conditions.
The image is focused by turning the knob on the side of the microscope and the eyepiece graticule can be rotated through 360 degrees to align with the direction of the crack being examined.
The 4mm measurement has a lower scale divided into 0.2mm divisions. Relevant Standards (BS 8110 part 2) state eg: the maximum crack widths should not exceed 0.3mm which is 15 divisions on the scale for most types of environment.
This CRACK MICROSCOPE is very easy to use and comes with a pocket sized carry case, but it is a good idea to remove the batteries when not in use.

The standard crack width gauge for walls, monitors horizontal & vertical movements across cracks. Being robust it can be used on internal and external applications. It monitors the opening or closing of a crack to an accuracy of 1.00mm and comes complete with crack recording cards.

Quick and easy to use, manufactured in rigid durable acrylic to measure the width of the crack only. This rule has to be held up to the cracks and measurement taken. It is calibrated to the edge of the scale, helping the user to measure into corners and awkward locations.
