Used for determining the consistency of mortar for masonry and building lime.

The mould is filled with mortar in the centre of the table and the mould removed leaving a conical sample. A handle is turned and the table is lifted and dropped for a specified number of drops. The diameter of the sample is measured to determine the flow.

Apparatus used to determine the flow properties of mortars, grouts, muds and many other types of fluid materials.
Comprises a stainless steel cone mounted on a stand, a 10mm nozzle as required by EN445 (other nozzles of 8, 9, 11 & 13mm are available), a 150mm dia sieve with 1.5mm opening that fits on top of the cone and a 1 litre jug.

The Marsh funnel viscometer is used for routine viscosity determinations on almost every drilling rig.
It is made of rugged, break resistant plastic that resists the affect of temperature change, so volumetric accuracy is assured. The plastic handle provides insulation to the user’s hands. A metal orifice also assures accurate readings.

Mud Balance

Provides a simple method for the accurate determination of mud density.
