Reflux Extractor

Used for quantitative determination of bitumen in hot mixed paving mixtures. The bitumen content is calculated by difference in weight of extracted aggregates, moisture content and ash from an aliquot part of the extract.

The apparatus consists of two wiremesh cones with interlocking froames, a cylindrical glass jar and a water condenser with inlet/outlet tubes.
