Glass beads for surface texture depth testing. 250/150um

The Test is performed spreading a measured volume of fine glass beads into a circular patch on the road surface & filling the surface depression with sand to the level of the peaks.
The texture depth is calculated from the area of the patch & the volume of beads used for the Test.

The apparatus comprises of:-
Measuring Cylinder 50ml
Tamper disc with surface cover of rubber
Glass container with screw top and pouring hole
Brush
Rule 300mm
Supply of glass beads
Carry Tray
