PLUNGER PENETRATION APPARATUS

The Plunger Penetration Apparatus is used to determine the consistency of fresh mortar, building lime and masonry cement. Consists of a base with location for test cup and a vertical column holding the penetration plunger assembly. The height of drop is adjustable and is normally set to 100mm, the weight of the plunger assembly is 90g. Penetration into the sample is measured on a scale engraved onto the plunger spindle. Supplied complete with sample cup (80mm dia. x 70mm deep) and tamper.
